2004 Dodge Dakota
Since 1986, Dodge Dakota offers additions and enhancements. 2004 models are slightly
bigger than most of its competitors in the pick-up trucks market. It comes in
6 trim levels namely: Base model with air conditioning, cloth seats and AM/FM
radio; Sport and Sport Plus with cloth interiors, upgraded gauge cluster and optional
keyless entry, power windows and CD changer and SLT and SLT
These levels are available in three body styles, the regular cab, extended "Club"
cab and the crew "Quad" cab. The 3.7-liter V6 engine with 210 horsepower and 235
pou nd-feet of torque is standard for all trims with five-speed manual transmission
and four-speed automatic transmission except for V6 and V8 with only 5-speed automatic.
Optional for Sport and SLT is the 4.7-liter V8 rated at 235 horsepower and 295
lb-ft of torque.
Key features include unique monochromatic custom front and rear body-color fascia
moldings, ground-effect side body moldings, 16" x 8" aluminum wheels, wheel flares
and a rear stabilizer bar. Interior cargo space is the largest among four-door
compact pick-ups
