Style and protection are the chief function of Dodge Dakota fender flares. Some fenders are made from flexible, thick, durable, scratch resistant, high impact Dura-flex thermoplastic material which offers flexibility and strength to help retain the flare's original shape, even in changing weather and road conditions.

 

Flares commonly come in natural OEM Style Black Matte Finish but they can be repainted by local body shop to match the vehicle's color scheme. Some fender flares includes UV-Resistant Rubber Edge Trim for a form fitting custom fit. Installation requires using hardware equipment s such as screws and pop rivets. Running Boards can also be used together with flares as long as they do not touch the interiors of the wheel. Most aftermarket flares requires cutting.
